How many times has Christ shown us compassion and we were so totally oblivious to it that we continu
ed to go about our business, ignoring the fact that without Him, we are nothing.... Today at the park (it was near 80 degrees today and we took full advantage of it) I was watching my kids play with the other kids. As usual, they had no trouble making friends with kids they didn't even know. One little girl in particular couldn't keep up with the rest and I watched as Maddie intentionally slowed down to play with her so that she wouldn't feel left out. It was the perfect illustration of one of my favorite verses. Jude 22 "And of some, have compassion, making a difference." I am so thankful that the Lord has given both my kids a tender heart that is sensitive to the needs of others. The grandmother of the little girl, as they were leaving, thanked Maddie for helping her granddaughter have a good time at the park. Maddie, at the age of 6, made a difference in another little girls life today...our children can teach us so much about Christ if we are willing to make the time to notice.

YES kids can be more Christ like unintentionally then most adults do intentionally! but of course in my opinion the kids model their parents alot and I know that yours do. John
