Jack finally did it...Maddie has done it twice in the past.... He cut his own hair. Now, for the scenario. I noticed very light reddish blond hairs on his shirt. Then I noticed the top of his head. Being a mom and loving a good story, I asked him if he cut his hair. He said "No mom, I would NEVER do that. Only Maddie did that." I said "Jack, are you sure?" "I am sure, mom," he said. I asked why there was hair on his shirt. He said "It is only dog hair," brushing it off as he replied. Now, Sandy's hair is much longer because Jack got a buzz about a month ago and Sandy also has much darker hair. I said "Jack, Sandy doesn't have light colored hair." Then he turned red and said "Oh. It is my hair. I cut my hair but it was an accident." The funny side of me is dying trying to hold the laughter in...the more serious side of me.... ok, those of you who really know me well know that doesn't exist often and so I just asked him to bring me the scissors that he used and I snapped a pic for the memory book. Now he will need an even shorter cut just as soon as we get back to normal temps around here.... :o)
