On Monday we went to one of the MANY miniature golf places in the area. The kids had never been golfing so it was a new experience for them. They did very well too! Jack got a hole in one at one of the holes but for the most part, he just "putted around" being silly. Maddie however worked very hard to improve her game and when we went to another location on Wednesday, she was getting most of her holes in 2 to 4 putts. The men and the kids played the first day while Gretchen kept score, I took pictures, and grandma carried the water bottles. On Wednesday, I joined the game while Gretchen kept score again and grandma was our water person. We had beautiful temps while at the ocean. It was actually cooler there than it was back home...the owners of the condo who lived in the other half of the duplex said that it had never been this cool in July since they had lived there and the local weather personalities on TV said that we actually broke record lows. It got up to 87 during the days and down to 65 at night. I think God planned that just for us. :o)
