My best friend since the 2nd grade, Jill Schau, always sends Maddie roses on her birthdays...one rose for each year she is old...The kids call her Aunt Jill because Jill and I refer to each other as twin. Here she is with her 7 pink roses. Maddie feels very special when she gets her roses because she says it is like when mommy gets flowers from daddy. The first birthday she was with us, she turned 3 years old and when daddy got home, she informed him that the pizza man brought her flowers. We still laugh about that one...I guess only pizza men bring things to the front door....HA!
Maddie with her sunbathing bear...the "towel" under the bear on the board we created with leftover scraps from her invitations and wax paper to protect it from the icing. She is having a wonderful day already!
