Daddy Daughter Date Day
This past Saturday, John and Maddie spent the afternoon together. They started out at the Family Museum where Maddie used their dress up clothes and put on a Broadway show for John, then she serenaded him with the drums, piano, and xylophones they have there, and then they played store at the play store they have set up there. John said she told him the total was $3000 at one point, he paid her with $40 and she gave him $30 change...now that is my kind of store! Then they went to the DQ for a snack and then downtown to what is called the Beau Arts Festival. They brought home some freshly made kettle korn for me. :o) I am so glad that they had some one on one time. Jack was sad when he realized he was not going with him so he and I did spend some time at the Putnam Museum, visiting his favorite room....the Asian Egyptian Room. The mummies in there intrigue him.

I Love It! We have been hoping to do Daddy=daughter dates for a while, but life has been so hectic. Guess we just have to make the time!
