Scroll down a few posts to read about Shaelynn if you have not done so already.
Here is the latest on Shaelynn's plan (cut and pasted from CarePages online):

A change in plans. I talked to Dr. Vibhakar, Shaelynn's oncologist, today and he had talked to Dr. O who is the doctor in charge of the Octreotide study and she wants to continue at least with this second round of treatment that we have scheduled for February 20th. Drew and I are in agreement with this so we are going to go meet with Dr. O on February 7th where Shaelynn will have counts done and we will discuss going ahead with treatment. Then Shaelynn will have the GFR test of her kidneys done and the Octreotide injection on Feb. 18th and come back home, go up on Feb. 19th and have a full head and spine MRI under sedation and come back home, then go up on Feb. 20th for the Octreotide study and spend the night and come home on Feb. 21st. We then will go from there. Things could change but that is the tentative plan for now. On another note ever since we came home from our lengthy hospital stay Shaelynn has just been really tired and all she does is lies around on the couch all day. Dr. Vibhakar thinks this is probably due to her Phenobarbital dose being changed to 45 mg so tonight we are to do 30 mg and from now on do only 30 mg and see how she is doing on Wednesday, hopefully a bit more perky and wanting to play and get off of the couch more. We are still going to meet with hospice on Wednesday of this week just to get paperwork done and when and if we need them we will already have half of the work done. Thank you so much for your prayers and encouraging words. Sam, Drew, Shaelynn, and Killian
