Shaelynn Sue won her battle with brain cancer this morning at 6:45 a.m. while I held her in my arms!!! She fought up until her last breath. She is now in heaven with no more needles, pokes, blood transfusions, platelet transfusions, trips to UIHC, etc., etc., etc. Drew and I took Shaelynn to the funeral home this morning and this afternoon we went out to make some arrangements.
Visitation: Friday night, February 22nd at 6:00-8:00 p.m. friends may call between 3:00-8:00 p.m.
Funeral: Saturday, February 23rd at 11:00 a.m. with a luncheon following at the church.

Thank you for all of the support this past year which the date today is exactly one year since Shaelynn was diagnosed!!!

This is such a sad story... but she was brought here for a reason and she fulfilled her purpose so God took her home. I feel so bad for the parents but I know they are glad she isn't suffering anymore.
