Just wanted to let everyone know that we are home again. The doctors feel that the spot on the CT scan was more tumor growth even from two weeks ago. So far Shaelynn has had no more seizures since yesterday afternoon. She did take her meds by mouth today and she has drank 16 ounces of milk!!! We are hoping she will continue to take things by mouth, if not we are meeting with hospice tomorrow and they can access her port and give her meds through that. We are now just trying to keep Shaelynn as comfortable as possible. We talked also with Dr. O and we are no longer going to continue with the Octreotide study as she feels that the cancer has taken control and there would be no point in putting Shaelynn through this trial. She just wants what is best for our family and was very awesome in coming to talk with us. The doctors, Drew, and I feel we have done everything we can for Shaelynn and now her life is in God's hands as it always has been but no more intervention on our part. I know that God can heal Shaelynn at anytime and we are still praying for that MIRACLE!!! This is by far the hardest thing we have had to deal with in our lives thus far and we definitely need the prayers!!! Sam, Drew, Shaelynn, and Killian
