TANKS!

For a little over a week, our fish tank has issues...one day it was perfect and then like overnight we had terrible green water and algae blooms had developed (which by the way, you can't really see other than the water is just very green). Needless to say, it was not fun. We love our fishies! So, after researching online and recruiting the help of our friend Tess, we found out the first option is to keep the tank as dark as possible for 3 days so we put cardbaord around it and left the light off, only removing the cardboard to feed them. WAHLA! After the 3 days, our tank is clear once again and looking better than ever! The lack of light causes the algae to die...if that didn't work, then a complete tank cleaning was in order...UGH

Our Tank Full View (you can see several of our fish)

This one is our black skirt tetra...he is one of our favorites

This is our plecostomus..he is supposed to keep the tank free of algae...perhaps we need to pay him more...TEE HEE He loves to hide out in his log, hanging upside down.
