Jack was a part of King's Kids Flyer Express Club which is geared towards kindergarten children. He loved the train theme and as you can see, he also completed his book. He had to memorize approximately 46 verses, the pledge to the flag, the pledge to the Christian flag, and a few other extras like how to behave in the God's house, etc...that are located in each "section". With the Flyer's Club, the parents also get an award because they know the importance of the parent working with this age group since they cannot read yet. If we had not signed each section that we had worked with him, then his leaders were not obligated to work with him on each section as well. We are very proud of Jack! We also want to thank the club leaders for working with him as well. We know how much he sits still and they were very patient with him.

Way to go Jack!!!

Jack's banner which has little buttons pinned to it for each of the train cars as well as his ribbon for completing his book.

For each train car, he had to memorize a section and finish 4 more sections to get the stickers for the wheels on each car.
Here is some info I cut and pasted from the club website:
The Flyers Express book utilizes a train theme. The train consists of seven cars, an engine, coal car, box car, tank car, hopper car, passenger car and finally a caboose. The challenge throughout the year is for each child to build his or her train by memorizing various goal cards. Each car consists of five goal card sections to memorize. There are 35 sections within this book.
