Finally...House Pics

We are slowly getting life back to routine and have a few of our rooms completed enough for pictures. We love our home in so many ways. It is large enough for our family, has a school room that is separate from the living area (that also serves as an office and sewing room - pictures will come when I am done with that room), a 4th bedroom presently being used as a toy room, and a basement that although not finished, is very usable and dry. I am glad the new owners of our old home didn't want the curtains as my mom and I made them all and we were able to use them in this home. West Burlington is a small town with lots of conviently located places like a Walmart Supercenter within about 7 blocks away, the post office is right across the street, a fire department half a block up, city hall half a block down, a huge park 4 blocks away...I am sure you are getting the idea....tee hee John and I each use a tank of gas every 2 - 3 weeks now instead of one each per week as well. Of course, my folks are in Burlington which has been a huge help as they have spent a lot of time with us getting things unpacked and situated. I also have 3 sets of aunts and uncles that live in the W. Burlington and Burlington area as well. That will mean many more date nights in our future! WOO HOO! All that being said, here are pictures of our home....

Kitchen - the color is best in the first one...the 2nd one is too orange
