Christmas 2008 Decorations

We seem to have settled in nicely and have done some Christmas decorating. It didn't take nearly as long as in the old house because we no longer have an open banister to hang garland from and we don't have huge archways to hand things above. We did use our Victorian ornaments on the tree even though they really don't fit the style of rooms but they don't look too bad actually! With the smaller tree, we had it done in a few hours as opposed to a few days...that I LOVED! In our old home, we had put wreaths in all the front windows along with corded candles in them...I did manage to reuse the wreaths and put candles in all the windows in the house except for a few. We don't have any fireplace mantels to place things on either so next year I plan to get more creative. It is hard to get creative when you feel like you are just getting settled in...tee hee You can click on each picture to make it larger and see more detail. :O)
