Jack has officially completed his Homeschool K4 Curriculum and is ready to move onto being a big kindergartner. I am so glad that we waited and gave him the extra year before starting K5 because he truly is more ready. Since he didn't turn 5 until December, even if we were using the public schools, they wouldn't have taken him in kindergarten anyway. It is so nice to have so many veteran homeschool mom's to confide in and all of them told me to wait a year because boys just need more time before sitting and doing school work. The fact that he is a kinesthetic learner hasn't changed so we will definitely be learning on the run but he also picks up on things quick and likes to make Maddie mad by answering her math problems before she can sometimes. I am looking forward to channeling his energy into even more learning this next fall. I praise the Lord for allowing the privilege to have both a boy and a girl...they truly do add a lot of joy to our lives and they have each other to lean upon as they grow older.
