Yesterday we went to Grandma and Grandpa B's to shop and to help them plant their tomato garden. While we were there, Jack rescued this toad from Sandy's attack and they played with the poor thing for a couple hours. We thought for sure he would be a goner before they let him go. Maddie was skittish at first but wouldn't be outdone by her brother and finally held the toad. Jack thought this was the grandest thing ever! With Jack, nothing is safe unless it is quicker than he is. :o)
