Today was a sad day for Jack...the girl he wanted to marry got married. Jack has been sweet on Jill every since we started attending Grace Baptist Church and Jill, having 8 siblings, knew how to have fun with little boys. Last Sunday at church Jack told Jill that he was going to go home with her and live with her and today at lunch he had it all planned out. He informed us that he wasn't going to go to the wedding today and then Jill couldn't marry Seth Hamilton (he is Patch the Pirate's nephew for those of you familiar with Captain Patch). We explained to Jack that even if he wasn't there, she was still getting married today so he decided he had better go. Seth is in the military earning his Masters of Divinity at Bob Jones University so that he can be a military chaplain. Today he was in his dress uniform. Pictured above are Jill and Seth kissing, Jack and Jill (went up a hill...), and Jack with one of Jill's sisters who was a bridesmaid. Jill told Jack that someday another Jill would come along when he was much older. Jack's reply to that was "I will marry you when I am seventeen!" HA! We keep reminding Jack that Jill has other sisters.... :o) Needless to say, we are pretty sure that we will be looking up the Hamilton's in Greenville if they are still there the next time we visit Uncle Ron and Aunt Gretchen.
