Jack is the only one in our family who does not have glasses. Many times he will say things like "I wish I had glasses..." and we try to tell him that they are not as fun as they may seem. Well, grandma has hung onto a frame of my brother's from when he was a kid. This particular frame cannot be broken no matter how much the kids play with them. Jack happened to sneak them home in his backpack from the last time they stayed all night with grandma and grandpa so I snapped a picture of him in them yesterday. Tomorrow both kids go for eye exams and I am praying that he does not need glasses for real..... :o) Jack cracked us up this afternoon at potluck too. We were sitting with our pastor's wife and another friend, Debby Snow when all of a sudden Jack blurts out "My girlfriends aren't eating with me today." John started laughing and Mrs. Cain was almost rolling. I asked him how many girlfriends he had and he said two. Then I asked who they were. "Joy and Becca of course!" Becca and Joy are Mrs. Cain's daughters and they are his favorite sitters...never mind the fact that Joy just graduated from college and Becca leaves for college this fall. Yep, that's my little boy!!!!
