I LOVE MY HAIRCUT!


This afternoon after church we took Maddie to get her haircut. As much as she loved her hair in pigtails, she has so much body and curl to her hair, that she hated having it brushed, even with the detangler. It would get very tangled in just a minimal amount of time after brushing it. With the ocean and a private backyard in ground pool for a week in our future, we convinced her that it would best if we went back to her old hairstyle. She had her ears lowered SIX inches! She has been growing it for about a year (yes, it grew at least 6" in a year because it used to be even shorter before she started growing it out...don't ya wish you had those hair growth capabilities????) The gal who cut her hair said she has the thickest hair she had ever seen on a 6 year old...so needless to say, Maddie will be much much cooler now.
