Today we spent the morning working on Maddie's Birthday Bear Cake. She actually measured the ingredients, cracked the eggs (without any shells in the batter I must add), and mixed it with the mixer. She did let me help her pour in the cake pan however. We used the huggable bear pan from Wilton and modified it by adding sunglasses instead of eyes so. Between you and me, I think she looks like Stevie Wonder...tee hee. Anyway, she has a pink swimsuit with a purple heart per Maddie's request. The picture actually makes the purple look blue and I couldn't make it look more purple no matter how many pictures I took and how many settings I tried on the photo editing program...sigh.... Tomorrow is the big beach themed birthday party...I can't believe she is turning 7 years old. Where does the time go?
